The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, in its annual search for innovative projects that strengthen Atlantic City’s communities, attract visitors, and enhance the quality of life for residents, workers, and visitors, has opened its grant portal.
CRDA officials say this funding cycle is ideal for winter events and year-round community development projects.
Applications will be evaluated based on their potential impact on Atlantic City and the strength of each submission. All grants require CRDA Board approval and operate on a reimbursement basis. CRDA reserves the right to make exceptions.
CRDA officials say the grant process is open to:
Community development: 501(c)(3) non-profit or tax-exempt organizations
- Education programs and youth services
- Arts and recreation initiatives
- Health and nutrition programs
- Open space revitalization and beautification
- Cultural festivals and memorial honorariums
Tourism/marketing entities
- Funding public events and activities that benefit residents and visitors while highlighting Atlantic City’s cultural heritage
- Free concerts and festivals
- Parades
- Community celebrations that showcase local culture and history
Government: State, county, and local government entities
- Supporting initiatives by state, county, and local government entities that directly benefit Atlantic City and its residents.
All applicants must demonstrate a minimum two-year track record serving Atlantic City or have previous experience with CRDA.
Please note: All tourism events must be free to the public, and events on City property require advance permits.
