A joint venture between CrownPoint Group and Crossroads Companies has officially broken ground on Liberty Village, a new 125-unit luxury residential community in Randolph. The development will feature upscale, townhome-style apartments at the intersection of West Hanover Avenue and Sussex Turnpike in Morris County.
The 14.5-acre site, which the partners have been transforming since late 2023, will feature 11 residential buildings designed to create a unique, neighborhood-like atmosphere. The project will include 100 market-rate homes and 25 age-restricted affordable apartments.
“At a time when most rental options are limited to traditional apartment living, we are delivering something truly unique,” Michael Legacki, vice president of CrownPoint Group, said. He highlighted that the project combines the privacy and comfort of a single-family home with the convenience of a modern rental. Most units at Liberty Village will offer bi-level living, high-end finishes, and private-entrance garages for direct access to homes.
Designed by Comito Associates, the community will also boast a robust amenity package. A central clubhouse will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center, social lounges, a golf simulator, a dedicated kids’ playroom, and a business center with work pods. The community will be pet-friendly, with an outdoor dog run and an indoor pet spa.
This project marks the second collaboration between CrownPoint and Crossroads, following a 90-unit luxury apartment development in Dover. that is currently under construction. Construction financing for Liberty Village has been secured from Berkshire Bank, with equity raised through a network of private investors.
The location in Randolph provides residents with easy access to major highways like Route 10, Route 46, and Interstates 287 and 80, as well as nearby NJ Transit stations, connecting the community to the wider New Jersey and New York City metropolitan areas.
