Cushman & Wakefield announced a significant expansion of its Garden State leadership team, appointing two industry veterans to its 12-person Global Portfolio Solutions unit.
The global real estate services firm has tapped Nick Hilton as Executive Managing Director and Brendan McBride as Executive Director. Both will be based out of the firm’s East Rutherford hub, joining the specialized team led by Executive Vice Chairman Ben Brenner.
The appointments bring an immense amount of local market intelligence to Cushman & Wakefield’s platform.

Nick Hilton joins from CBRE, bringing over 20 years of experience and a staggering $2 billion in career transaction value. New Jersey insiders will recognize Hilton from his tenure as Executive Vice President at Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, where he managed leasing for a massive 15-million-square-foot portfolio that defined much of the state’s Class A waterfront and suburban office landscape.

Brendan McBride transitions from JLL with two decades of experience. His expertise is particularly relevant to the current NJ market, focusing on complex industrial and warehouse relocations, sale-leasebacks, and large-scale portfolio strategies—sectors that have seen explosive growth along the New Jersey Turnpike and Port Newark corridors.
The move is part of a broader strategic push by Cushman & Wakefield to integrate high-level advisory services with advanced data analytics.

In addition to Hilton and McBride, the firm has recently added three other professionals to the New Jersey-based team:
