Elmwood Park-based Spencer Savings Bank has hired Chris Coppola to its commercial real estate team as vice president, commercial real estate client manager.
The expansion will help the community bank meet ongoing client demand for commercial lending through its banking products and personalized client service.
Coppola is a seasoned banking professional with 20 years of industry experience in growing and managing commercial real estate loan relationships in the tri-state area, particularly in the construction sector.
Prior to joining Spencer Savings Bank, the Fordham University grad held various leadership positions, including his recent role as vice president and senior client associate.
In August, Spencer Savings Bank expanded its commercial banking lending division, hiring four new lenders: Carlos Carvajal, Eric Wong, Robert Ross, and Joseph Arnone.
In February, the bank made a $10,000 donation to the Research and Development (R&D) Council of New Jersey. The funds are earmarked for the Governor’s STEM Scholars program, a prestigious initiative that mentors the next generation of scientists, engineers, and tech leaders.
