Matthew Moore and Sarah Anyieth have recently been appointed positions at Morristown-based Emerald Bay Risk Solutions.
Moore has been appointed chief financial officer, and Anyieth has been appointed chief operating officer.
Emerald Bay CEO Tracey Sharis is enticed with their experience and knowledge.
“Their combined experience and leadership in finance, insurance, and operations will be invaluable as we continue scaling Emerald Bay,” she said. “They will serve as high-impact partners as we work with high-quality MGAs and reinsurers.”
Moore has 15 years of prior insurance experience and holds a CPA, most recently working for Core Specialty where he served as CFO of insurance operations. He’s also had various roles with Progressive Insurance, having been CFO for Progressive Fleet & Specialty Programs, and later VP of finance at Protective Insurance, which Progressive later acquired.
Anyieth likewise brings 15-plus years of experience to Emerald Bay, having skills and experience with operations, accounting, advisory and leadership positions. Her most recent job was managing director in the business transformation practice for Riveron. She further had roles with EY and PwC in senior roles and is also a CPA.
Moore was excited with the new partnership.
“I look forward to partnering with Tracey, Sarah, and the rest of the team to advance our financial strategy, support sustainable, long-term growth, and reinforce Emerald Bay’s trusted role in the specialty and program insurance sectors,” Moore said.
Anyieth similarly shared her outlines for the company.
“I am excited to work alongside the team to expand our operational capabilities, optimize our technology, and strengthen our ability to deliver solutions and long-term value for our partners,” she said.
