Grön (pronounced grewn), a top producer in the North American cannabis edibles market, officially announced Wednesday the expansion of its product lineup in New Jersey with the launch of its chocolate bar collection.
The move marks a symbolic “homecoming” for the brand, which built its reputation over a decade ago on high-quality, culinary-inspired chocolates before expanding into other edible categories.
Founded in 2015 by Christine Apple, Grön was a pioneer in merging professional confectionery standards with cannabis. In 2019, it became the first cannabis chocolate brand to achieve Fair Trade certification, a commitment to sustainability that remains a core pillar of the brand today.
“Chocolate is where Grön began,” Apple said. “We built this company on the belief that cannabis edibles should taste exceptional and deliver predictable, intentional effects. Bringing our chocolate line to New Jersey is about raising the standard for what infused chocolate can be.”
The new product line is designed for both the “canna-curious” and experienced consumers. Each bar is scored into 20 individual pieces, with each segment containing 5mg of THC to ensure controlled, repeatable dosing. Additionally, the entire line is:
