Holy Name has entered into a partnership with Columbia University Irving Medical Center to expand neurosurgical services.
The partnership will increase Holy Name’s capacity to treat cerebrovascular conditions, including more complex stroke cases.
As part of the collaboration, Holy Name has added Eleonora Spinazzi, a cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgeon affiliated with Columbia, to its medical staff.
Holy Name Chief Medical Officer Vasantha K. Kondamudi welcomed the addition.
“With Dr. Spinazzi and the support of Columbia, Holy Name will be able to care for patients with more complex neurological conditions,” she said.
Holy Name provides neurological care for a range of conditions, including headache and seizure disorders, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, using a multidisciplinary treatment model.
