Chris Lowicki, highly regarded for his work in both the chamber of commerce and
nonprofit ecosystems around the state, has joined BINJE as a project manager.
In this role, Lowicki will oversee numerous internal and external initiatives at BINJE,
which is quickly establishing itself as the go-to source for business news — and B2B
connections — in the state.
Lowicki comes to BINJE from the Sharing Network, where he served as a community
services specialist for nearly two years. Prior to that, he worked for nearly three years at
the N.J. State Chamber as operations coordinator.
In both roles, Lowicki worked closely with business leaders across the state — and
across generations. Lowicki was a key player in the launch of the State Chamber’s
Young Professionals Network, where he still serves on the board.
BINJE Founder and Editor Tom Bergeron said Lowicki is just what BINJE needs as it
continues its growth. BINJE was launched last May.
“Chris’s unique skill set, both as an experienced operations director and a well-known
connector of people, makes him the ideal person to join our young and growing
organization,” Bergeron said.
“He will serve as our point person on a number of key initiatives that we intend to launch
this year.”
Lowicki, who began in the role earlier in the month, said he is eager for the opportunity.
“I am excited to start this new chapter in my career,” he said. “In less than a year, BINJE
has proven itself to be a leader in New Jersey’s media space. The project manager role will allow me to learn invaluable skills, as well as create and strengthen relationships
with New Jersey’s top professionals.
“When I was presented with the opportunity to work at BINJE, I jumped at it. Tom and
his team have created something special here. I am incredibly excited to help build and
shape the future of this organization.”
As has been the case throughout his career, Lowicki will continue to be a fixture at
business events around the state, interacting with key business leaders while always
being on the lookout for initiatives that will assist them.
“At this stage of my career, it’s all about learning, networking, and being able to build
something,” he said. “BINJE checks all of those boxes and more. In this role, I will have
the opportunity to learn from and work with industry experts across the state.”
Lowicki is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft and the University of
South Carolina, where he earned a degree in public relations in 2021.
