Madison-based Hispanic organization installs Edwin Acevedo as president

Century 21 Real Estate, a subsidiary of Compass International Holdings and based in Madison, has installed Edwin Acevedo, broker/owner of Century 21 LOTUS, as 2026 National President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP®).

Acevedo was officially installed during the recent NAHREP Homeownership and Housing Policy Conference in Washington, D.C., where housing leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders convened to discuss the future of Hispanic homeownership in the United States.

Acevedo’s installation is the sixth time in the more than 20-year relationship between the Century 21® brand and NAHREP that national NAHREP presidents have come from the Century 21 network. It is also the third consecutive year that a Century 21 professional has been named.

Acevedo succeeds Oralia Herrera, broker/owner of Century 21 TK Realty Inc., who served as NAHREP’s 2025 President, and Nora Aguirre of Century 21 Americana, who served as the 2024 President.

Acevedo has built his career around service, mentorship, and community impact. As founder and broker/owner of Century 21 LOTUS, he has helped expand access to homeownership while cultivating future leaders within the real estate profession.

He has held local, regional, and now national leadership roles, where he amplified Hispanic voices while advancing policies that support equitable housing opportunities.

The Century 21® brand includes nearly 10 percent Spanish-speaking members within its network of independent brokers and agents.
