Marco’s Pizza enters the Garden State with opening in Somerset

Marco’s Pizza, a fast-growing national pizza brand, officially made its New Jersey debut. The new storefront, located at 1135 Easton Ave in Somerset, introduces Central Jersey residents to the brand’s “top-tier craftsmanship” and fresh-to-order menu.

The expansion marks a significant milestone for the franchise as it enters the highly competitive New Jersey pizza market, leaning on its commitment to fresh dough prepared daily and a signature three-cheese blend.

The Somerset location is spearheaded by Teepu Khan, a veteran franchise operator with a storied career managing over 60 restaurants for iconic brands like KFC, Pizza Hut and Dunkin’. After a brief three-year retirement, Khan was drawn back to the industry by Marco’s operational standards and growth potential.

“When I discovered Marco’s, I knew it was different,” Khan said. “The quality, operational standards, and passion behind the brand reminded me why I fell in love with this business in the first place.”

Khan, who already owns three Marco’s locations in Houston, has ambitious plans for the region, aiming to open at least seven additional locations across New Jersey and the five boroughs of New York City.

Supporting the Somerset launch is Certified Manager Farooq Masood, who brings over a decade of experience from Pizza Hut to ensure high-service standards.

The new location offers carryout and delivery, with ordering available via the Marco’s app and website. Residents interested in joining the team as delivery drivers or pizza makers can apply at the company’s dedicated hiring portal.
