A taste of the Garden State is coming to the Tar Heel State this fall. PrimoHoagies, the beloved sandwich chain that began as a neighborhood staple in South Philadelphia and is now headquartered in Westville, New Jersey, is expanding its East Coast presence with a new location in Charlotte.
For over 30 years, PrimoHoagies has been celebrated for its commitment to quality, using premium Thumann’s meats and cheeses sliced fresh and piled high on award-winning seeded bread. The brand has been recognized nationally, including being named the “Best Sandwich Shop in America” by USA Today for two consecutive years.
The new shop, located at 8736 Outlets Boulevard, Suite 400, just outside the Charlotte Premium Outlets, will introduce residents and visitors to its signature Italian specialty sandwiches. The franchise has been growing steadily, with locations now spanning Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas.
While the official grand opening date is still being finalized, the company plans to continue its tradition of giving the first 100 customers in line a free Primo-size hoagie. This signature celebration marks the start of a new chapter for the brand in Charlotte, bringing its authentic and generously portioned sandwiches to a new community.
