Oya Tukel, dean of the Martin Tuchman School of Management at the New Jersey

organization’s connection to the region’s higher education and innovation ecosystem.
Her perspective as an academic leader with deep ties to industry will support NRBP’s
work to align employers, institutions, and talent around shared economic priorities for

NRBP CEO Ferlanda Fox Nixon applauded the announcement.

“Oya is a visionary leader who understands how education, technology, and business
intersect to drive economic growth,” she said. “Her experience building strong

Regional Economic Outlook forum, and sponsoring the 2026 Leadership Summit.

As NRBP continues to convene leaders across sectors, Fox said Tukel’s expertise will

growth. Additionally, her commitment to continuous improvement will be a valuable
asset as the organization advances initiatives that benefit the entire community.
