President & CEO, Newark Regional Business Partnership (NRBP), Ferlanda Fox Nixon, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for ACCE, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
ACCE is an Alexandria, Va.-based association of over 9,000 professionals who work for and with more than 1,300 chambers of commerce. Members of ACCE’s board of directors represent more than 50 organizations, including many of the world’s largest and most influential regional chambers of commerce.

Nixon leads the organization’s efforts to strengthen the region’s business community through connections, resources, and advocacy. Before joining NRBP, she served as chief of policy and external affairs for the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and founded Ferlanda™, a leadership consultancy focused on diversity, business strategy, event planning, and professional development.
She is a distinguished leader with a background in corporate law, public policy, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.
