The road to the FIFA World Cup 2026 will officially run through Harrison. The New York New Jersey Host Committee on Wednesday announced the launch of the NYNJ World Cup 26 Jersey Fan Hub, a massive, multi-sensory fan destination designed to serve as the tournament’s heartbeat in the Garden State.
Located at Sports Illustrated Stadium, the Fan Hub will provide a centralized, high-energy environment for residents and international visitors to experience the “global game” on a scale never before seen in New Jersey.
The Jersey Fan Hub is designed to make fans feel like they are part of the action. Key features of the venue include:
-
The Pitch View: Live matches will be broadcast on a massive 60-foot screen situated directly on the stadium floor, allowing fans to watch from the pitch itself.
-
Hype House: A newly opened rallying point featuring 20 large-screen TVs, a 360-degree bar and a built-in stage for musical performances and celebrity appearances.
-
Host City Activations: The hub will showcase interactive brand experiences from major New Jersey-based supporters, including Bristol Myers Squibb, Hackensack Meridian Health, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and PSEG.
“As we prepare to welcome the world to this generational event, it’s critical that New Jersey communities are at the center of the experience,” Tammy Murphy, NYNJ Host Committee Board Chair said. “The Jersey Fan Hub will create an accessible and exciting space for residents and visitors alike to come together.”
The selection of Harrison as the official New Jersey fan site underscores the town’s rapid evolution into a premier sports and entertainment destination. The Fan Hub is part of a broader regional strategy that includes massive “Fan Villages” at Rockefeller Center and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, ensuring the World Cup’s economic impact is felt on both sides of the Hudson.
“Today’s announcement is about creating places where fans can come together and experience the energy of the World Cup beyond the stadium,” Alex Lasry, CEO of the NYNJ Host Committee said. “This venue is a natural fit for the kind of dynamic, community-driven experience we’re building.”
In keeping with the Host Committee’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility, the Fan Hub will offer a family-friendly entry point for the World Cup experience.
- General Admission: Tickets will be priced at $10 (plus fees).
- Youth Access: Entry is free for children ages 12 and under.
In addition to match-day viewings, SI Stadium will host a series of global headliner concerts and cultural programming throughout the duration of the tournament.
