SAX, a Top 100 national accounting, tax, and advisory firm, recently announced that SCL Consulting has agreed to join SAX LLP and SAX Advisory Group LLC, effective Nov. 14.
The acquisition strengthens one of SAX’s fastest-growing disciplines—Client Accounting Services (CAS)—and expands the firm’s reach into the Mid-Atlantic market.
Founded in 2014 by Shane Lease, SCL Consulting is a Maryland-based financial consulting firm recognized for its high-quality, tailored accounting and advisory solutions, particularly its strength in CAS.

This transaction follows SAX’s recent strategic minority investment from Cobepa, an independent investment company, which continues to accelerate the firm’s growth trajectory and enhance its service capabilities.
