As the nationwide demand for intensive addiction treatment continues to surge, Enlightened Recovery (formerly Enlightened Solutions) announced the opening of a new 22-bed residential treatment facility on its sprawling 300-acre campus in Egg Harbor Township.
The state-of-the-art rehab center officially began accepting patients in mid-January. The expansion marks a significant milestone for Southern New Jersey’s behavioral health care infrastructure, providing a secluded, rural sanctuary designed to facilitate long-term recovery for individuals battling substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
The newly constructed facility is integrated into Enlightened Recovery’s existing “main campus” ecosystem, which offers a full spectrum of addiction services. By adding 22 residential beds, the provider aims to serve more than 1,000 individuals over the next two years.

The opening comes at a critical time for New Jersey. While the state has seen historic investments through national opioid settlement funds—totaling over $1 billion through 2030—gaps in residential bed availability have remained a challenge for families in the Atlantic and Ocean County regions.
