The Spring Lake Hope Foundation announced that its Ninth Annual Gala Luncheon will return to the Indian Trail Club on Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. The event, titled “A Day of Courage and Community,” will bring together supporters, families, and friends to celebrate and support children with rare and serious illnesses.
This year’s gala promises to be a powerful gathering of compassion and inspiration, uniting attendees with legendary athletes from the worlds of soccer, hockey and football who will join in honoring the foundation’s “lil’ heroes.”
The annual luncheon serves as a vital lifeline for families facing unimaginable challenges. Guests will enjoy a bubbly bar, gourmet luncheon, and a silent auction featuring luxury getaways, autographed sports memorabilia, and other unique experiences. All proceeds from the event will help fund medical and related expenses for children in need.
“Each year, the gala is a day when our community opens its heart,” Founder and President Paulette Pera Laurenzi said. “It’s about honoring the strength of these children, lifting up their families, and showing them that they are never alone in their journey.”
Salvatore Frassetto, Chairman of the Board of Advisors, echoed this sentiment, stating, “This event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a chance to rewrite stories, restore hope, and remind these children they are heroes in every sense of the word.”
A highlight of the afternoon will be the presentation of the Zoey Award, established in loving memory of Zoey Komninos. The award will be given to a child whose quality of life will be transformed by this meaningful gift, continuing Zoey’s legacy of love and resilience.
The event’s success is made possible through the support of dedicated partners, including Presenting Sponsor Inserra Supermarkets, Saddleback Real Estate Developers, and Waxman Industrial.
