Sprouts Farmers Market, a specialty grocery retailer recently named Progressive Grocer’s Retailer of the Year, is preparing to open its fifth New Jersey location. The new store, located at 1002 St. George Ave. in Woodbridge, is scheduled to open its doors on Oct. 3. This opening is part of the company’s continued expansion in the Garden State, and it will bring 107 new career opportunities to the local community.
Sprouts is actively seeking to fill a variety of full- and part-time positions, including department managers, assistant department managers, and clerks in produce, meat, seafood, deli, and other departments. The company is also hiring cashiers, courtesy clerks, and other key store staff.
Hiring events in August
To find team members for the new Woodbridge location, Sprouts will host two in-person hiring events at the APA Hotel Woodbridge. The events will take place on:
- August 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- August 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A new shopping experience
The new Woodbridge store will offer a unique shopping experience centered around fresh produce, with a variety of innovative and attribute-driven products. A grand opening celebration with special events and offers will be announced closer to the Oct. 3 opening date.
