Sweetspot Farms, a rapidly growing cannabis company with operations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, today announced the grand opening of its newest dispensary, located at 75 Route 4 in River Edge.
The opening marks the company’s 8th dispensary nationwide and an expansion of its retail footprint in New Jersey. Sweetspot held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 25, 2025, to celebrate the launch. River Edge Mayor Thomas Papaleo and members of the city council were on hand, with the Mayor issuing a proclamation welcoming the new business.
The Mayor’s proclamation stated that the opening of Sweetspot Dispensary “represents a new chapter in our community’s local business economy, contributing to job creation and economic growth in a regulated industry.”
Focus on education and accessibility
The new dispensary is designed to cater to a wide range of adult-use consumers, emphasizing a modern and approachable store design. Sweetspot is known for its commitment to customer education, creating a welcoming environment for both seasoned users and first-time cannabis consumers.
The store features an informed shopping experience where customers can browse a curated selection of premium flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Products are showcased with detailed information on THC, cannabinoids, and dominant terpenes to help customers make educated choices.
