TD Bank names Marc Womack head of U.S. Consumer Deposit and Payment Products

TD Bank has announced the appointment of Marc Womack as the new head of U.S. Consumer Deposit and Payment Products. In this role, Womack will oversee the entire consumer deposit lifecycle, including product development, customer acquisition and engagement.

Womack’s return to TD Bank comes after a period at Santander, where he served as the head of operations for their Consumer Finance Business. His previous experience at Santander focused on modernizing and digitizing the customer servicing experience, an approach he is expected to bring to his new position.

“Marc’s deep experience and ability to lead product-driven strategy…positions him well to help TD drive substantial growth and efficiency, while keeping the customer experience at the forefront,” Andrew Stuart, head of U.S. Consumer Products, Auto Finance and Wealth, said.

This is not Womack’s first time with TD Bank. He previously held the position of president and CEO for TD Auto Finance, where he was instrumental in leveraging digital transformation to achieve scalable growth. He also served as chief of staff to the President & CEO of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank.

In addition to his roles at TD and Santander, Womack has held senior executive positions at GE Capital, JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, Hyundai Capital America, and HSBC.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead an amazing team that is evolving TD’s deposit business to drive deeper personalization, customer engagement, and meaningful impact in the industry,” Womack said of his appointment.

Womack holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s degree in financial administration from Michigan State University.
