Tamar Zapolanski has been named Valley Medical Group’s director of dermatology.
Zapolanski is board-certified with a focus on general medical and surgical dermatology. She specializes in inflammatory skin conditions, skin cancer screening and treatment, acne, rosacea, eczema, skin rashes and infections, and treatment of benign growths.
She will provide clinical and strategic leadership for the dermatology service line, with a focus on optimizing access and driving continued program growth across Valley Medical Group and Valley Health System.
Valley Medical Group Chair of Medical Specialties Joseph Mathew praised her experience.
“Dr. Zapolanski has been a valued member of Valley Medical Group for more than 12 years,” he said. “She brings deep institutional knowledge, a strong clinical foundation, and a long-standing commitment to patient-centered care to this role.”
Zapolanski was thrilled with the new role.
“I look forward to ensuring our department continues to provide our community with
access to high-quality dermatologic care while also growing so that we can expand our
services and reach more patients,” she said. “We will continue to collaborate
with other Valley Medical Group services to build a strong, interdisciplinary experience
for those seeking care at Valley.”
