Walters, the award-winning Barnegat-based developer, has officially opened the affordable housing lottery for Cornerstone at Galloway II, the second phase of its premium income-restricted community in Atlantic County. This new phase will deliver 66 apartment units located at 110 South Wrangleboro Road in Galloway.
Applications to enter the housing lottery are being accepted now through Dec. 29th. The official drawing to select prospective residents will take place on Jan. 19th.
Construction on Cornerstone at Galloway II is progressing, with the completion and anticipated occupancy slated for the spring of 2026. The apartment mix will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts.
The new community is designed to provide high-quality living tailored for residents whose incomes are at or below 60 percent of the area median income (AMI). Rental rates will be determined based on the renter’s gross annual income.
Joe Del Duca, partner and director of Affordable Housing for Walters, highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainable and stable housing. “Because we focus on supportive, sustainable housing, we incorporate environmentally responsible design elements that help our communities achieve LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certification,” he stated.
Residents of Cornerstone at Galloway II will have access to a full suite of premium amenities:

On-site Amenities: A multipurpose clubhouse featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center, a children’s playground, a basketball court, and computer workstations.

In-Unit Features: Apartments will come equipped with full-size washers and dryers, fully equipped kitchens, and window blinds.
