Iselin-based World Insurance Associates LLC on Tuesday said it acquired the business of Green Bay Insurance Center of Green Bay, Wisconsin. The acquisition was effective on July 1.
Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1968, Green Bay Insurance Center is a full-service agency that specializes in a comprehensive range of offerings, including home insurance, auto insurance, business insurance, builders risk insurance, farm insurance and group health insurance. The agency is known for its personalized, accountable approach to customer service within the Green Bay community.
Expanding services for clients
Tony Schiegg, president of Green Bay Insurance Center, expressed optimism about the merger. “We are your Green Bay neighbors committed to providing superior customer service and take pride in our personal and accountable approach to doing business,” Schiegg said. “It’s great to be joining World, a well-regarded company, and have the ability to offer additional products and services to our existing and new clients.”
The acquisition aligns with World’s strategy of partnering with established agencies that share its commitment to client relations.

World Insurance Associates was advised on the transaction by legal counsel Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla and consulting firm Reagan Consulting. Green Bay Insurance Center received legal counsel from Godfrey Kahn and advising from Dowling Hales.
