Real estate developer Woodmont Properties has launched leasing for the second phase of Woodmont Valley, a luxury mixed-use rental community in Pennsylvania’s booming Lehigh Valley. This expansion, known as The Villas at Valley, introduces 120 new upscale residences and 13,000 square feet of retail space to the Lower Macungie area.
The new phase is strategically positioned not only to serve the local Lehigh Valley market but also to attract renters seeking high-quality housing with robust regional connectivity, including to New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. Located at the intersection of Route 100 and Grandview Drive, Woodmont Valley provides seamless access to major highways like I-78 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, facilitating travel to the Philadelphia and New York City metro areas.
Diverse luxury housing options
The expansion builds on the success of the initial 204-unit phase, which was completed in 2017. The new residences are split into two distinct product types:
- The Villas at Valley: 99 townhome-style residences featuring two levels of living space and private garages, with two-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,285 to 2,075 square feet. Rental rates for the villas begin at $2,920.
- The Apartment Flats at Valley Square: 21 one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 825 to 1,350 square feet. Rents for the flats start at $2,095.
All new homes are designed for the modern renter, featuring high ceilings, oversized windows, wood-style flooring, and sleek kitchens with quartz countertops, energy-efficient stainless steel appliances, and islands.
Amenities and retail
Residents of the expanded community will have access to a full array of private amenities, including a sophisticated clubhouse and lounge, a heated pool with sundeck, outdoor terraces with fire pits and BBQs, and a modern strength and cardio center.
Furthermore, the new phase introduces The Shoppes at Valley Square, with 13,000 square feet of ground-level retail in two mixed-use buildings. These new community-focused concepts are scheduled to open later this fall, creating a vibrant, integrated live-work-play environment for residents and the surrounding neighborhood.
Stephen Santola, Woodmont’s executive vice president and general counsel, noted that the expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to the region. “This expansion builds on the success of our first phase while introducing a thoughtful mix of housing and retail, furthering our commitment to creating dynamic, connected communities that enrich life throughout Lehigh Valley,” he said.
The leasing office is now open at 3535 Grandview Drive, with the first residents expected to move into Woodmont Valley 2 later this fall.
