CoWorx Staffing Services promoted Amanda Platia to chief people officer (CPO), effective immediately.
The new role is part of the Morristown-based company’s commitment to aligning people practices with business priorities, as defined in its People & Culture strategy.
The CPO role is crucial to ensuring that talent, culture, leadership, and well-being remain central to strategic decision-making.
Platia had served as senior vice president of People & Culture, where she was instrumental in modernizing CoWorx’s human resources function and strengthening talent development.
She also has gained expanded oversight of Workers’ Compensation and Safety, where she will champion CoWorx’s commitment to employee well-being, operational alignment, and a culture of accountability.
New Jersey has experienced staffing shortages across several industries, including nursing in health care facilities.
