Mountain Creek Resort, a popular four-season destination in Vernon has officially announced the reopening of two of its most well-known waterpark attractions: Cannonball Falls and the Tarzan Swings. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the resort and a nostalgic moment for long-time visitors.
The attractions are now part of a newly designed section of the park called “The Gorge,” a rugged and immersive area that complements the classic rides.
Reimagined for a New Generation
Cannonball Falls returns with two distinct slides, the Root Slide and the Rock Slide, while the Tarzan Swings have been re-engineered with three swings to provide a “next-level” experience.
According to Evan Kovach, Resort General Manager, the return of these rides was a “true labor of love.” He stated that the attractions have been a part of the park’s “DNA for decades” and that the team is excited to welcome guests back to experience them in a “refreshed and even more exciting way.”
In addition to the returning classics, Mountain Creek Waterpark offers a variety of other attractions, including the Colorado River Rapids, Zero G, and the High Tide Wavepool. The park is located just 47 miles from the George Washington Bridge, making it an easily accessible destination for visitors from New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
