Hard Rock Atlantic City hits high note with $50M investment for 2026

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has officially pulled the lever on a massive $50 million capital improvement plan, doubling down on its commitment to the seaside resort’s ongoing revitalization.

The 2026 initiative, which is already underway, marks a cumulative investment of nearly $700 million since the property opened its doors in 2018. This latest phase focuses on luxury guest experiences, expanded culinary offerings, and maintaining its title as the premier entertainment hub of the East Coast.

The lion’s share of the investment will transform the resort’s North Tower, ensuring the property remains competitive as regional tourism swells. Key upgrades include:

  • Accommodations: Full renovations of over 700 standard guest rooms, 60+ suites, and eight exclusive penthouses.
  • Aesthetics: A complete refresh of walkways and corridors, along with new custom carpeting across the casino floor.
  • Infrastructure: The addition of 16 new electric vehicle (EV) chargers at Rocktane Gas & Wash and exterior restorations to the South Tower.

Hard Rock is significantly expanding its dining portfolio this spring with the introduction of two highly anticipated concepts:

  1. Sitar: An artfully designed East-Indian restaurant featuring modern cuisine and sweeping views of the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk.
  2. Federal Donuts & Chicken: Bringing Philadelphia’s cult-favorite coffee, donuts, and fried chicken to the resort.

2026 Entertainment Lineup

Reaffirming its status as an “A-list” destination, the resort has secured a powerhouse schedule for its venues, including Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena and Sound Waves.

Performer Date
Rod Stewart March 7
Ricardo Arjona April 17
Charlie Puth May 30
Daniel Tosh June 20
James Taylor June 27
Nikki Glaser August 1

Beyond the physical upgrades, the resort continues to be recognized for its internal culture. In early 2026, the property earned its third consecutive USA Today Top Workplaces Award, a feat President George Goldhoff attributes to the team’s dedication.

“Our $50 million plan reflects our unwavering commitment to reinvesting in our resort, our team members, and the Atlantic City community,” Goldhoff stated. “These investments ensure we continue delivering an exceptional experience while honoring our core motto to ‘Love All, Serve All’.”

The majority of these renovation projects are slated for completion by the end of 2026.
