Wipro Limited, an East Brunswick-based AI-powered technology and consulting company, announced an expanded partnership with cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike to launch Wipro CyberShield MDR. This new AI-powered unified managed security service (MSS) is designed to simplify and strengthen enterprise security operations.
The new service directly addresses the challenges organizations face with fragmented security tools that create operational blind spots and overwhelm teams with alerts. CyberShield MDR leverages the CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM to provide a modern Security Operations Center (SOC) with enhanced visibility, AI-driven automation, and improved efficiency.
According to Wipro, the platform will help companies contain threats swiftly and ensure the continuity of digital operations by enabling AI-automated workflows, preventing lateral threat movement, and eliminating potential security gaps. The service will be managed and hosted by Wipro’s cybersecurity experts from eight global Cyber Defense Centers (CDCs).
“The Falcon platform supercharges Wipro’s CyberShield Managed Security Services to deliver real-time attack detection, faster response and outcomes that stop breaches,” Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike said. He added that the partnership will simplify operations across Wipro’s partner ecosystem, reducing costs and accelerating time-to-value for customers.
