A Flanders entrepreneur and an Elmwood Park-based commercial leader have been nationally recognized as “standout roofing contractors under the age of 40.” Amanda Veinott and Wendy Lucas were named two of Roofing Contractor Magazine’s “Young Guns” for 2025, commended for their business acumen, self-starter spirit, and vision within the construction trade.
The honor, which recognizes six business professionals under 40 from across the U.S., highlights emerging leaders who are leveraging new approaches and technology in the industry.

Amanda Veinott, the owner and founder of Maven Roofing & Exteriors LLC, a residential roofing and exterior remodeling contractor in Flanders, was recognized for her success as a purpose-driven sales professional. Veinott has built a robust presence through community involvement and her 12,000-person strong social media community in Morris County. She credits Maven’s success to “professionalism, reputation, and clear internal and external communication.”

Wendy Lucas, vice president of Client Experience at PB Roofing in Elmwood Park, was honored for her role as a commercial roofing professional dedicated to the advancement of women in construction. Lucas has led the development of her company’s sales, marketing, and client experience teams, expanding its nationwide commercial real estate client portfolio. Her community contributions include serving on the Executive Committee of the National Women in Roofing, a volunteer-led organization with over 2,000 members.
“It’s no surprise, but this next up-and-coming younger generation of roofing contractors has a fresh take on customer expectations, communication, how to build out processes, and truly leverage technology throughout their business organization,” Anna Anderson, CEO of Art Unlimited and national facilitator of Roofing Contractor Young Guns, said.
