The Greater Atlantic City Chamber’s Board of Directors has appointed Danielle Norcross as its new president, signaling a renewed commitment to regional business advocacy, engagement, and strategic growth across Atlantic County.

Norcross, who brings over 13 years of executive experience in chamber management and strategic planning, is tasked with driving the organization’s next phase of evolution and enhancing member value.

“Danielle’s track record of building member value, aligning strategy to measurable outcomes, and elevating the public voice of business is exactly what this moment calls for,” Barbara DeMarco, chair of the board said. “She brings the energy, credibility, and collaborative approach needed to be a champion for all of Atlantic County’s employers.”

Norcross joins the Greater Atlantic City Chamber having most recently served as chief strategy officer for a national association management firm. Critically, she previously led the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce as CEO, where she successfully transformed the organization, expanded membership by 20%, and solidified the chamber’s role as a leading voice for the local business community.

“I am thrilled to join the Greater Atlantic City Chamber at such a pivotal moment,” Norcross said. “Atlantic County’s business community is expanding, diversifying, and adapting, and the Chamber must evolve in step. I look forward to partnering with our members, board, and regional leaders to ensure the Chamber is a strong, strategic, and influential voice for business.”

Her appointment reflects the Chamber’s heightened focus on member engagement and taking proactive leadership on policy and priorities that shape economic growth in the county.

Norcross stressed the mission ahead: “Chambers are at their best when they are relevant, responsive, and representative. Our work ahead is about continuing to build an institution that not only serves its members but speaks for them.”

The Chamber also extended its gratitude to Jane Asselta, who served as leadership consultant since May, playing a “pivot role” in ensuring seamless operations during the search for new leadership.

To officially welcome Norcross and kick off the next phase of engagement, the Chamber will host a “Building Our Future Together Networking Event” on Dec. 16. Event details will be announced shortly on the Chamber’s website.
