Union-based Arrow Security announced the appointment of Douglas Brownlie as its new regional vice president of Operations Mid Atlantic. In this key leadership role, Brownlie will oversee security operations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, focusing on driving operational excellence and strategic growth.
Brownlie joins Arrow Security with an impressive background spanning more than two decades in distinguished law enforcement, security, and safety management. His comprehensive expertise is expected to significantly strengthen the company’s mission to deliver industry-leading protection and risk mitigation services throughout the region.
Brownlie’s career highlights include nearly two decades of service with the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, where he rose through the ranks to leadership positions such as Detective Sergeant, Detective Lieutenant, and Commander. During this time, he oversaw critical units including:
- Special Investigations
- Computer Crimes
- Counter Terrorism
- Organized Crime and Narcotics
- Arson Investigations
- Fugitive Investigations
Before his tenure at the Prosecutor’s Office, he served with the Raritan Borough Police Department from 1996 to 2003, advancing from Patrolman to Detective. His recent experience also includes roles as Director of Safety and Security for Johanna Foods, Inc., and Security Liaison for Watchung Hills Regional High School, where he managed security for over 1,900 students and staff.
