REDCOM Design & Construction, a Westfield-based full-service architectural, engineering, and general contracting company, celebrated the official groundbreaking for the new 3PL Logistics Center located at 156 Boundary Road in Marlboro. The ceremony, held on Dec.4, marks the start of construction on a new, state-of-the-art logistics, shipping, and fulfillment facility.
The ground-up construction project will result in a 56,170 square-foot pre-cast concrete panel building designed for efficient supply chain operations. The new center will feature four offices, a large breakroom, two bathrooms, four loading dock doors, and one drive-in door.
The project scope includes significant site improvements, such as improved access along Boundary Road, expanded parking areas, and upgraded stormwater management systems. REDCOM is overseeing the construction and provided all architectural and engineering services for the development.
Representatives from both companies were in attendance, including Lara and Marcos Eddi from 3PL Logistics Center, and Mo Elkhadragy, Ryan Teicher, Sam Rockaway, Josh Tiner, Sean Feeney, and Pat Kelmartin from the REDCOM team.
Sam Rockaway, REDCOM Senior Vice President of Sales, emphasized the project’s strategic importance. “The 156 Boundary Road project highlights our focus on creating advanced, future-ready logistics facilities,” Rockaway stated. “We’re proud to work with Marcos Eddi and the 3PL Center team on a development that supports long-term growth and reflects our shared commitment to excellence.”
