FellowshipLIFE, a provider of Life Plan Communities, announced a significant expansion of its strategic partnership with CCL Hospitality Group and its specialized brand, Unidine. The collaboration aims to standardize “hospitality excellence” across FellowshipLIFE’s growing portfolio, prioritizing personalized nutrition and superior health outcomes for New Jersey seniors.
The expanded agreement now covers all five of FellowshipLIFE’s primary campuses, ensuring that the organization’s holistic approach to wellness is integrated into the daily dining experience of every resident.
The partnership extends to FellowshipLIFE’s diverse network of communities, which serve as regional hubs for active adult living and advanced care:
- Fellowship Village (Basking Ridge)
- Applewood (Freehold)
- Riverwalk Village (Hackettstown)
- Pines Village (Whiting)
- Friends Village (Woodstown)
“As we continue to grow FellowshipLIFE across New Jersey and beyond, we must meet older adults where they are,” Brian Lawrence, president and CEO of FellowshipLIFE said. “Today, they’re focused on well-being and wellness, and we want to create environments where they can achieve that.”
At the center of this expansion is Unidine’s signature “Fresh Food Pledge,” a commitment to scratch-cooking using fresh, seasonal, and responsibly sourced ingredients. This approach moves away from traditional institutional food service toward a model that treats nutrition as a pillar of healthcare.
Rich Mercado, resident district manager at Unidine, emphasized the shift toward intentionality: “Gone are the days of creating food without intention. We take modified diets, texture requirements, and personal preferences into account in real time.”
