Inspira Health locations in Mullica Hill and Vineland have received reaccreditation as Comprehensive Centers through American College of Surgeons.
The accreditation comes from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. MBSAQIP is a program championed by ACS in partnership with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
To achieve MBSAQIP reaccreditation, Inspira successfully completed a rigorous review process that included a comprehensive pre-review questionnaire, independent site visits by an experienced bariatric surgeon, and ongoing reporting of patient outcomes to the MBSAQIP. During the site visits, Inspira’s program structure, processes, and clinical outcomes were evaluated and met national standards for staffing, training, infrastructure, and care pathways, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all patients.
Inspira Medical Centers Chief Administrative Officer Lydia Stockman praised the unit’s continued dedication and effort.

Inspira Vineland first received accreditation in 2006 and has been providing comprehensive bariatric surgery services for over 20 years. Inspira Mullica Hill first received accreditation in 2022, and this marks the second time the facility has received this designation.
In addition to the Comprehensive Center designation, MBSAQIP has recognized three Inspira surgeons as Verified MBSAQIP Surgeons:

- Ahmed Attia, D.O., Director of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program at Inspira Medical Center Vineland;
- Christopher Bashian, D.O., Director of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill;
