Columbia Bank expands North Jersey footprint with new Rutherford branch

The Goldstein Group announced Monday that Columbia Bank has officially opened a new branch at 74 Park Avenue in Rutherford.

The deal for the approximately 2,300-square-foot space was brokered by Neil Goldstein, principal of The Goldstein Group, who represented the tenant. Chris Conway of Atlantic Coastal Real Estate represented the landlord, Julie Richard, LLC.

The new location places Columbia Bank on a prime corner of Park Avenue, a high-traffic area known for its excellent visibility and pedestrian accessibility. The move is a key part of the bank’s ongoing expansion strategy throughout Northern New Jersey.

“We’re proud to have played a key role in bringing a trusted financial institution like Columbia Bank to the Rutherford community,” Goldstein said. “This deal exemplifies our commitment to connecting top-tier tenants with strategic retail locations that support growth and long-term success.”

As the fourth-largest bank in the state with a valuation of approximately $7 billion, Columbia Bank continues to grow its presence while maintaining its identity as a community-focused institution.
