Colliers strengthens tri-state leadership with appointment of Corey Horowitz

Colliers on Monday announced that Corey Horowitz has joined the firm as senior vice president within its Tri-State region.

Horowitz, who will be based in Manhattan, transitions to Colliers from Mohr Partners, where he served as managing partner and co-market leader for the NYC Tri-State region. The move marks a significant reinforcement of Colliers’ regional capabilities, particularly for New Jersey-based firms and owners with expanding footprints across the Hudson.

Horowitz brings nearly two decades of high-level experience to the firm, having navigated the complexities of the New York City market for corporate, institutional, and nonprofit clients.

Key Career Milestones:

  • Transaction volume: Completed over 3 million square feet of office transactions throughout New York City.
  • Agency leasing: Advised ownership groups on more than 1.3 million square feet of assets across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City.
  • High-profile clientele: Previously advised major organizations including The New York Times, The Metropolitan Opera, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and the Consulate General of Brazil.

The appointment of Horowitz is part of a broader investment by Colliers in top-tier talent to navigate a rapidly evolving office sector. His background in both tenant representation and agency leasing provides a 360-degree perspective that is vital for Tri-State clients managing complex growth objectives.

“Corey brings an exceptional depth of experience and a highly strategic approach to office leasing in the Tri-State region,” John Gallagher, executive managing director, New York City said. “His proven track record… makes him a valuable addition to our team as we continue to invest in top-tier talent.”

As the Manhattan office market continues to stabilize and recalibrate in 2026, Horowitz is poised to deliver the “cutting-edge, tailored solutions” that modern occupiers require.

“I am thrilled to be joining Colliers and play a role in driving the expansion of its Manhattan office leasing platform,” he said. “As the market continues to evolve, I am eager to collaborate with the team to deliver solutions that not just meet but exceed our clients’ business objectives.”

A member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Horowitz previously held senior leadership roles at firms including Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark Knight Frank. His regional expertise will be a primary resource for New Jersey-based executives looking to bridge the gap between Garden State operations and world-class Manhattan office space.
