Gov. Mikie Sherrill, in a major speech to the business community, will deliver a keynote
address at the ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo, March 31 at Harrah’s Atlantic
City.
Sherrill’s remarks, expected to be heard by approximately 1,000 top business leaders
from around the state, are expected to outline her administration’s efforts and programs
on her ‘Save You Time and Money’ agenda, as well as her numerous executive orders
that are intended to make it easier to start and grow a business in New Jersey,
streamline government, and reduce permitting barriers and red tape.
Her address will take place on the afternoon of the Summit’s opening day. The
statewide Summit, co-hosted by Control Point Associates, runs March 31-April 1.
State Chamber CEO Tom Bracken said he already likes what he has been hearing from
Sherrill.
“Her administration’s commitment to strengthening New Jersey’s economy and
enhancing our state’s competitiveness sends a strong and encouraging message to the
business community,” he said. “We look forward to hearing her vision for driving
economic growth and expanding opportunity for employers and employees across the
state.”
Sherrill is one of three headline speakers already confirmed for the event.
- United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby: He will discuss the state of the economy, the
outlook for the aviation industry and United’s continued commitment to New
Jersey; - JAG Physical Therapy CEO John Gallucci Jr.: He will share insights on
leadership, entrepreneurship, and the challenges of building a successful
healthcare business.
The two-day ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo is expected to draw more than
