Ridgefield Park-based SOLUM America has appointed Tim McCracken Jr. as chief revenue officer.
This merges the company’s sales and partner leadership efforts under a single executive role as the company continues to grow its North American business across retail, health care and manufacturing sectors.
SOLUM serves the retail, health care, and manufacturing sectors, specializing in electronic shelf labels and e-paper display solutions for physical retail environments.
McCracken will lead SOLUM America’s sales and partner teams, overseeing direct sales and channel partnerships across North America.
In a release, the company said the appointment reflects a commitment to accelerating growth in this market as retailers modernize their physical stores with digital infrastructure.
McCracken has more than 15 years of experience leading enterprise and channel sales teams across retail, technology and manufacturing. At SOLUM America, he has led end-user and partner sales teams serving customers across retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and sports and entertainment.
McCracken previously worked for more than a decade at Samsung Electronics America in progressively senior sales leadership roles.
In November, Wegman’s upped its retail technology efforts by electing Smita Katakwar, senior vice president of technology at Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., to its board. Katakwar helps guide the GS1 US strategy toward greater cross-industry adoption and use of GS1 Standards for increased supply chain efficiency and visibility.
