AppWork, a Ramsey-based leader in property technology (PropTech), recently announced that it has raised approximately $7 million in new financing to modernize the way multifamily owners and operators handle maintenance.
The funding round was led by Resolve Growth Partners, a firm specializing in scaling vertical SaaS companies. This latest injection of capital follows a massive 2025 Series A of $13 million and comes on the heels of a “breakout year” where AppWork saw more than 200% growth.
As the multifamily industry grapples with a persistent shortage of skilled technicians and rising service demands, maintenance efficiency has become a critical lever for asset value. AppWork’s platform is designed to:
-
Eliminate backlogs: Automating the maintenance lifecycle to ensure work orders don’t stall.
-
Boost retention: Improving resident satisfaction, which translates directly into higher lease renewal rates.
-
Increase visibility: Providing owners and asset managers with real-time data on property health and operational bottlenecks.
“This continued investment is a strong validation of the impact we’re delivering,” Sean Landsberg, co-founder and CEO of AppWork said. “Our platform has helped property owners reduce bottlenecks and improve accountability—factors that play a pivotal role in elevating the resident experience.”
AppWork intends to use the $7 million to further distance itself from competitors through three primary pillars:
| Focus Area | Objective |
| AI & Product Innovation | Developing AI-driven tools to increase technician productivity and shorten response times. |
| Team Expansion | Significant hiring within engineering and client success departments to handle surging demand. |
| Operational Insights | Providing asset managers with actionable data for smarter, faster decision-making. |
Since its launch in 2022, AppWork has seen rapid adoption, even among NMHC Top 50 operators. The platform’s mobile-first approach is specifically designed to empower the workers on the ground, making it a favorite for teams looking to protect their Net Operating Income (NOI) through tech-enabled efficiency.
“We believe AppWork is becoming the standard for multifamily maintenance operations,” Rocco Natalicchio, principal at Resolve Growth Partners said. “Their pace of innovation continues to set them apart.”
