Erin Young, a recent graduate with strong creative and communications credentials, has joined BINJE as its first Social Media Coordinator.
Young graduated summa cum laude from William & Mary in 2025 with degrees in English and marketing. She brings marketing internship experience with three companies, along with post‑graduate training through a publishing course at Columbia University, to the role.
BINJE Founder and Editor Tom Bergeron said Young arrives at an important moment in the company’s growth.
“We love energy and enthusiasm, and Erin has both,” Bergeron said. “Social media is one of the most important drivers of growth for any organization — especially one as young and ambitious as BINJE.”
Founded in the spring of 2025, BINJE has quickly emerged as an essential source of news and insights for New Jersey’s business leaders. That early momentum was a key draw for Young, she said.
“I’m excited to join a young company as it continues to make its mark across the state,” she said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to amplify BINJE’s content, its honors and its events to an even broader audience.”
In addition to managing BINJE’s digital presence, Young will represent the outlet at events around the state. Last week, she supported coverage of BINJE’s Best: Top Women in Business. This week, she will be on site at the ReNew Jersey Summit.
A graduate of Morristown High School, Young is a lifelong New Jersey resident and now lives down the Shore.
Young is the second hire for BINJE this month. Earlier, the organization added Chris Lowicki in the role of project manager.
BINJE now has 10 employees.
“We’re still looking to grow,” Bergeron said.
