R&J Strategic Communications, a fixture in the Garden State’s professional services and real estate sectors, has announced a significant expansion of its leadership and digital divisions. The Somerville-based agency, known for its deep roots in New Jersey health care and nonprofit communications, has promoted two internal rising stars and added a new manager to spearhead its push into AI-driven search and multimedia.
The moves signal a strategic pivot for the agency as it navigates a rapidly shifting media landscape defined by artificial intelligence and performance-based digital marketing.
The agency announced the promotion of two professionals who have grown within the firm’s specialized practice groups:
-
Jeremy Dreisbach has been elevated to account executive. A graduate of William Paterson University, Dreisbach joined the firm in 2023 and has become a primary architect of integrated strategies for the agency’s heavy-hitting commercial real estate and professional services clients. His role encompasses everything from high-stakes crisis communications to executive thought leadership.
-
Dexter Cheng has been named senior visual designer. Since starting as an intern in 2019, the Rutgers University alumnus has become the agency’s creative engine. In his new senior role, Cheng leads the visual identity for integrated campaigns, bridging the gap between traditional print design and modern front-end website aesthetics.
“Jeremy and Dexter have built strong partnerships with the clients they serve and have grown into important leaders within our team,” Scott Marioni, president of R&J Strategic Communications said. “They bring strategic thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses.”
In a move that addresses the 2026 “AI-first” digital environment, R&J has tapped Andrew Serian as digital media and content manager.
Serian’s role is specifically designed to help New Jersey businesses maintain visibility as traditional search engines give way to AI-powered discovery tools. His mandate includes:
- AI-driven content discovery: Developing strategies to ensure clients appear in AI-generated search results and evolving digital platforms.
- Data-driven performance: Leading paid media campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google.
- Multimedia expansion: Scaling the agency’s video production and visual storytelling capabilities to increase engagement across “owned, earned, and shared” channels.
The expansion at R&J comes at a time when New Jersey’s commercial and healthcare sectors are increasingly reliant on digital-first reputation management. With AI changing how audiences find information, the agency is doubling down on the intersection of data and design.
“As the communications landscape evolves with AI, new search behaviors, and emerging platforms, we are focused on helping our clients stay visible, relevant, and competitive,” Marioni added.
Based in the heart of Somerset County, R&J’s growth reflects the broader resilience of the New Jersey marketing industry, which continues to serve as a critical bridge between the state’s corporate “Wealth Belt” and global digital trends.
