As the world prepares for the kickoff of the FIFA World Cup, American Dream has officially positioned itself as the regional epicenter for “off-the-pitch” action. The mega-complex announced today the launch of Dream Fan Fest, a massive 39-day celebration that will run for the full duration of the tournament.
Unlike traditional outdoor fan zones, Dream Fan Fest offers a climate-controlled, multi-venue experience featuring celebrity appearances, live concerts, and exclusive brand activations, all under one roof.
Located just steps away from the stadium action, American Dream is one of the only destinations in the region activating daily for the entire 39-day stretch.
“This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for our region, and American Dream will be at the center of the activity,” Adam Petrick, chief marketing officer of American Dream said. “From gameday hospitality to non-matchday experiences, we are creating memorable moments for millions of visitors from around the world.”
The fest will span the property’s three million square feet, utilizing its world-class entertainment venues for soccer-themed programming:
- Daily Viewing Parties: Fans can gather for every match, enhanced by live entertainment and surprise celebrity guests.
- DreamWorks Water Park: The massive indoor water park will host themed “Water Park Parties” and post-game events.
- The Rink & Dream Live: These venues will serve as stages for concerts, original programming, and live performances.
- Curated Dining: The property’s 11 full-service restaurants will feature special World Cup menus and premium gameday hospitality for brands and partners.
Soccer icons and flagship experiences
American Dream has strategically bolstered its connection to the global game through several high-profile retail and museum additions:
- The Messi Experience: A much-anticipated tribute to global icon Lionel Messi is slated to debut soon.
- Adidas Flagship: A U.S.-exclusive, soccer-focused flagship store is now open.
- The Soccer Factory: Home to a museum celebrating the legendary Diego Maradona.
- World Cup Trophy Tour: The festivities will reach a fever pitch on June 3 and 4, when the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola arrives at The Rink.
In a major boost for the local economy, American Dream is collaborating with the Hispanic Chamber to launch La Plaza de Fútbol. This initiative will allow 1,000 New Jersey small businesses to showcase their products and services to an international audience of millions throughout the tournament.
In partnership with FIFA, American Dream will provide thousands of parking spaces on match days, making it a critical transit and hospitality hub for fans attending games nearby. With 250 retailers and over 30 attractions already in place, the complex aims to provide a “best-in-class” experience for both local fans and international tourists.
Additional details regarding the concert lineup and celebrity roster will be released in the coming weeks. For updates and schedule information, fans can visit www.americandream.com/dream-fan-fest.
