Crow Holdings Development (CHD), one of the nation’s most prolific real estate investment and development firms, has officially bolstered its Northeast leadership team with the hiring of Travis Conley as senior associate of construction management.
The strategic move comes as the firm accelerates its industrial development pipeline across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania—a region where CHD has already introduced more than 5.3 million square feet of new inventory since 2020.
A resident of Rumson, Conley joins the Montclair-based team with over 15 years of high-level experience in ground-up developments and capital improvement programs. In his new role, Conley will oversee the full lifecycle of CHD’s industrial projects, from supervising design professionals during pre-development to managing the day-to-day operations on the construction site.
“Crow Holdings Development’s ability to proactively navigate challenges and deliver high-quality projects sets it apart,” Conley said. “Today’s development projects demand innovative problem solving and disciplined cost management. CHD’s holistic approach closely aligns with how I’ve approached my work throughout my career.”
Prior to joining CHD, Conley held senior leadership positions at a vertically integrated New York-based investment platform. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in construction engineering management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The hiring of Conley is a direct response to CHD’s active construction schedule in the region. The firm’s Northeast division currently manages several high-profile sites, including:
- Crow Holdings at 6A (Burlington, NJ): A recently completed facility with a 138,000-square-foot partial building availability.
- 2748 Grant Avenue (Northeast Philadelphia): A 103,500-square-foot project currently under development.
- Future Starts: Multiple additional projects are slated for 2026 starts as CHD continues to capitalize on the region’s demand for modern logistics space.
“Travis brings the experience and strategic mindset required to advance our active development pipeline,” Clark Machemer, CHD senior managing director said. “His leadership will strengthen our ability to execute effectively as we move multiple projects through construction.”
Crow Holdings Development is the development arm of Crow Holdings, a firm with 75 years of history and over $34 billion in assets under management. Nationwide, the company’s industrial team has developed more than 77 million square feet of space since 2013 alone.
By adding specialized construction management leadership directly to its New Jersey office, CHD signals its intent to maintain a “boots-on-the-ground” approach to its massive Northeast expansion, ensuring that quality and budget remain synchronized in a highly competitive market.
