Bergen Town Center revitalizes retail mix with five new dining, fitness, and fashion concepts

Bergen Town Center, the iconic shopping and lifestyle hub in the heart of Bergen County, is officially expanding its roster. Urban Edge Properties announced on Wednesday that five diverse new tenants are set to join the center, further cementing its status as the region’s premier “essential” destination.

The announcement follows a major 2025 renovation of the property, which introduced digital signage, modern landscaping, and enhanced community gathering spaces. The new additions—ranging from a high-end fitness center to a flagship Hong Kong BBQ concept—are designed to complement existing anchors like Whole Foods and Target.

The newly announced lineup brings a mix of national names and regional favorites to the Route 4 corridor:

  • Elev8tion Fitness (14,750 SF): This high-octane, results-driven gym is expanding its footprint from South Florida into New Jersey. It aims to be a primary destination for serious trainers and fitness enthusiasts.
  • Tatte Bakery & Café (3,840 SF): A massive win for local foodies, this Boston-born artisanal chain is famous for its Mediterranean-inspired dishes and fresh pastries. Note: Fans will have to wait just a bit longer, as it is slated for a May 2027 opening.
  • Canton Rodeo (1,458 SF): Bergen Town Center will host the flagship location for this brand-new concept, specializing in slow-roasted Hong Kong BBQ.
  • Pilates Addiction (1,696 SF): Providing a modern twist on classical Pilates, this studio focuses on core strength and high-intensity sculpting.
  • Nail Art Spa (2,211 SF): Building on its success in nearby Hackensack, this popular regional brand is opening its second location to offer luxury beauty services.
  • Swarovski (869 SF): A sleek “jewel box” shop will offer the brand’s world-renowned crystal jewelry and accessories.

The expansion is part of a broader strategy to transform the center from a traditional mall into a daily lifestyle destination. By mixing essential retail with high-end fitness and specialized dining, the center aims to capture a wider variety of customer “trips.”

“This combination of new concepts and upgraded offerings continues to elevate the experience at Bergen Town Center,” said Josh Birns, SVP of Leasing at Urban Edge Properties. “These operators provide complementary uses and will drive new traffic while benefitting from their neighbors’ existing audience.”

Located in one of the most competitive retail markets in the country, Bergen Town Center has remained a “must-visit” by evolving its physical space. The 2025 upgrades focused on “wayfinding” and aesthetics, making the sprawling center easier to navigate while providing lush, green spaces for the community to congregate.

As these new tenants prepare to open their doors, Bergen Town Center reinforces its reputation as “Everyone’s Everyday”—a place where Paramus residents can grab groceries, hit the gym, and enjoy a high-end meal all in one stop.
