RH Outlet opens massive new showroom at Ikea Drive Plaza in Paramus

Paramus continues to solidify its reputation as the “Retail Capital of America” with the official opening of a new RH Outlet at Ikea Drive Plaza.

Levin Management Corporation (LMC) announced Monday that the luxury home furnishings brand, formerly known as Restoration Hardware, has moved into a sprawling 50,700-square-foot freestanding building located at 200 Ikea Drive. The move represents a significant expansion and relocation for the brand within the borough, nearly doubling its footprint to accommodate its extensive upscale collections.

The new RH Outlet provides North Jersey shoppers with access to the brand’s signature high-end furniture, lighting, textiles, and décor at outlet price points. The facility features curated “rooms” that showcase the brand’s design-forward aesthetic, from modern living room sets to sophisticated outdoor collections.

The opening strengthens the tenant mix at Ikea Drive Plaza, which is anchored by the region’s massive IKEA store, creating a powerful “one-stop shop” for home furnishings along the Route 17 and Route 4 corridors.

“RH Outlet is a terrific addition to Ikea Drive Plaza and the greater Paramus retail market,” Vanessa Kelty, senior leasing representative of LMC said. “The brand’s strong following and elevated home furnishings offering make it an ideal fit for this highly visible location.”

The transaction was orchestrated by a team of prominent New Jersey retail experts. Vanessa Fernandez and Ed Vasconcellos of LMC represented the property ownership, while Curtis Nassau and Patrick Brake of RIPCO Real Estate represented RH Outlet.

Why this location matters:

  • Regional Draw: The plaza sits at the nexus of the Garden State Parkway, Route 17, and Route 4.
  • Affluent Demographics: The site taps into Bergen County’s dense, high-income population.
  • Retail Synergy: Positioned next to IKEA, the brand benefits from massive existing foot traffic from home-focused shoppers.

The opening of a 50,000-square-foot luxury outlet highlights the continued resilience of brick-and-mortar retail in Bergen County. Despite the rise of e-commerce, Paramus remains a global destination for shoppers from across the New York metropolitan area, largely due to its concentrated variety of flagship and outlet stores.

With the new RH Outlet now open for business, Ikea Drive Plaza reaches near-full occupancy, further boosting the local economy and tax base in one of New Jersey’s busiest commercial hubs.
