Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation announced Wednesday the appointment of Michael Mehosky as senior managing director and national sales manager of Peapack Capital, the company’s equipment finance and leasing subsidiary.
In his new capacity, Mehosky joins the Peapack Capital leadership team with a mandate to spearhead sales strategy across all origination channels, including direct, capital markets, and third-party partnerships. His primary objective is to drive portfolio diversification and disciplined growth, aiming for $2 billion in originations within the next 18 months.
“Michael’s deep industry expertise and proven track record in building high-performing teams make him an outstanding addition to Peapack Capital,” Anthony Perettine, senior managing director and president of Peapack Capital, said. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to scale our platform, expand our national presence, and deliver innovative financing solutions to our clients.”
Mehosky brings an extensive background in commercial finance to his new role. He joins Peapack Capital from Gordon Brothers Commercial Equipment Finance, where he most recently served as managing director of Originations said.
His career also includes several senior leadership positions at prominent financial institutions, including:
- Signature Financial: Director and Vice President, Head of Vendor Equipment Finance
- Peoples Capital & Leasing: Senior Vice President and Group Manager
- Siemens Financial Services: Vice President, Capital Markets and Vendor Industrial Sales Manager
- GE Capital: Senior Vice President, Capital Markets
Mehosky holds a degree in Secondary Education with concentrations in History and Economics from West Virginia University. Outside of his professional career, he has spent the last six years as a volunteer high school boys’ soccer coach.
