Local health officials, physician leaders, and elected executives gathered recently to celebrate the grand opening of the Precision Surgery Center of Englewood Cliffs, a brand-new facility designed to significantly expand access to outpatient surgical care in Bergen County.
The state-of-the-art, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center was officially launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a major milestone as the first newly developed center of its kind built by Englewood Health. The facility is a joint venture combining the clinical and operational strengths of Englewood Health, SCA Health, and local physician partners.
Located at 910 Sylvan Ave, the modern 20,000-square-foot facility features four fully equipped operating rooms and two specialized procedure rooms. Built to handle thousands of surgical cases annually, the center is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), ensuring it meets rigorous national standards for patient safety and clinical excellence.
The center is designed to provide high-quality care in a streamlined, lower-cost outpatient setting. Highly skilled clinical teams and advanced technology will support a wide range of medical specialties, including:
- Orthopedic Surgery (including total joint replacements)
- Gastroenterology
- Ophthalmology
- Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Podiatry
- Pain Management
By shifting these procedures to a dedicated outpatient environment, the center aims to offer patients a more seamless, efficient, and convenient surgical experience without the need for traditional hospital stays.
