FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation has officially opened a new 18,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Fairfield. The new hub, which began operations in May 2026, marks a strategic milestone in the company’s efforts to scale its endoscopy business and enhance service infrastructure across the United States.
The Fairfield facility serves as a dedicated logistics space, allowing Fujifilm to streamline its supply chain while freeing up significant capacity at the company’s existing service center in Wayne.
By relocating warehouse operations to Fairfield, Fujifilm is executing an aggressive expansion of its Wayne service center, which will grow to approximately 1.5 times its original size. This expansion is designed to meet the rising demand for high-quality technical support from healthcare providers nationwide.
“The opening of our new Fairfield facility represents an important milestone for our endoscopy business and reflects Fujifilm’s ongoing investment in innovation, infrastructure, and customer support,” Taisuke (Tai) Fujita, senior vice president of the endoscopy division said. “We are committed to scaling our operations and service capabilities to continue to meet and exceed [our customers’] evolving needs.”
As gastroenterologists and advanced endoscopists increasingly rely on Fujifilm’s next-generation imaging and surgical technologies, the company’s expanded Wayne facility will focus on:
- Improving Service Efficiency: Optimizing turnaround times for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Enhancing Technical Support: Increasing the capacity of the technician workforce to provide responsive, high-level support for complex endoscopic tools.
- Strengthening Infrastructure: Ensuring long-term growth and the ability to maintain a comprehensive portfolio of advanced medical devices.
Fujifilm’s endoscopy division remains a key component of the company’s healthcare portfolio, which provides solutions across diagnostic imaging, enterprise imaging, and surgical imaging.
