Rely Home, Inc., the parent company of Edison-based Choice Home Warranty, has named seasoned executive Mandy Dowson as its new chief operating officer. The appointment marks a strategic move to scale operations and enhance the customer service experience across its portfolio of home protection brands, including Home Warranty of America, The Home Service Club and Lineguard Solutions.
In her new role, Dowson will oversee critical business operations—such as claims handling, contractor coordination, and service delivery—that form the backbone of the company’s home warranty offerings. Her leadership is expected to strengthen the infrastructure supporting the company’s nationwide network of independent technicians.
“Mandy is a proven operator with a strong track record of guiding sizable organizations through strategic transformation while building high-performing teams,” Jim Mostofi, CEO of Rely Home said. “She brings a hands-on approach to driving superior customer experience and improving workflows which will be instrumental as we continue expanding Rely Home on our mission to make home ownership simple and affordable.”
Dowson brings over 20 years of experience in organizational management and business transformation to Rely Home. Most recently, she served as COO of Continental Battery Systems, where she managed a $1 billion business with more than 200 locations. Her previous career highlights include:
- Executive Leadership: Served as CEO, President, and COO of Jenny Craig, managing $325 million in global revenue.
- Operational Transformation: Held senior consulting roles at Conway MacKenzie and Plante Moran, specializing in acquisition integrations and profitability programs.
- Education: Holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Finance and Management from the University of Nebraska.
For the thousands of homeowners who rely on Choice Home Warranty for protection against unexpected repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and major appliances, the focus on improved workflows and accountability is significant. Dowson emphasized that building robust systems to support both employees and customers is her top priority as the company grows.
“I’m excited to join Rely Home at a time when homeowners are looking for straightforward, reliable ways to manage unexpected repairs and costs,” Dowson said. “Throughout my career, I’ve focused on building stronger reporting and accountability processes while creating systems that better support both customers and employees.”
As Rely Home continues to scale its direct-to-consumer and real estate channels, Dowson’s appointment signals a continued commitment to balancing rapid expansion with high-quality service standards.
