JAG Physical Therapy officially celebrated the opening of its newest clinic in Belleville with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located at 630 Washington Ave., this facility marks the company’s 10th location in Essex County and further expands its network, which now includes over 170 locations across the Northeast.
The event drew a strong turnout from local officials and community members, underscoring the town’s support for the new healthcare provider. Belleville Mayor Michael Melham joined the team to commemorate the occasion, expressing his enthusiasm for the company’s arrival. “We are so happy to have you in Belleville in a great location,” Mayor Melham said. “The township stands by our businesses and Washington Avenue where you are located. We are grateful you are here, and we look forward to your success!”
Commitment to community-focused care
The Belleville clinic is designed to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, offering a wide array of specialized services including orthopedics, sports medicine, women’s health, geriatric services, and injury prevention programs.
Kevin Mansfield, PT, DPT, who serves as the Clinical Director of the Belleville facility, shared his excitement about joining the local community. “I am very grateful and happy to serve the community and get everyone back to the life they love,” Mansfield said. “I love what I do and I am happy to be here!”
Edward Zdanowicz, Regional Director of JAG Physical Therapy, also emphasized the warm reception the company has received. “We have been welcomed by the community of Belleville. We feel embraced by the town and are happy to be serving you!”
Patient access and services
In line with JAG Physical Therapy’s mission to provide accessible care, the Belleville clinic operates under a direct-access model. This allows patients to begin physical therapy treatment without the need for an initial doctor’s referral. Patients can work with a licensed therapist for up to 30 days before a referral is required for continued care.
